This Privacy Policy describes how BitsTensor Tech LLP ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information in relation to the Masjid Plus mobile application ("App").
By using Masjid Plus, users agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
Masjid Plus helps users view Azan and Jamat timings for nearby or selected mosques. Timing information may be updated by mosque administrators and made available to users through the App.
Masjid Plus is designed to collect and process only the information necessary for the App’s features and operations. The App may collect or process the following categories of information:
The App may access location information only while the App is in use (foreground) to help users find nearby mosques and show relevant mosque prayer timings. We do not track user location in the background.
The App may store user preferences, such as selected mosque, prayer calendar data, reminder preferences, and other app settings.
The App may retrieve and display mosque-related prayer timing data, including Azan and Jamat timings, from connected online services or cloud databases.
The App may process limited technical or device-related information necessary for app functionality, performance, troubleshooting, notifications, reminders, and service reliability.
If mosque administrators or other authorized personnel create or use accounts to manage mosque timing data, the App or its related services may process limited account-related information necessary for authentication, administration, synchronization, and security.
Masjid Plus may request and use the following permissions:
Used to send prayer alerts, Azan reminders, Jamat reminders, and other relevant app notifications.
Used to connect to online services and retrieve updated prayer timing and mosque information.
Used to help users identify nearby mosques and improve location-based features.
Used to schedule precise prayer-related alarms and reminders at the correct time.
Used to store prayer calendar information, user settings, and app preferences locally on the user’s device.
Information processed through Masjid Plus may be used for the following purposes:
Where required under applicable law, we rely on user consent and other lawful grounds to process data for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.
By granting permissions and using the App, users acknowledge and agree to the processing of information as described herein. Users may deny or revoke certain permissions through device settings at any time. However, some features of the App may not function properly without the required permissions.
We do not sell users' personal information. We may share or process limited information with trusted third-party service providers only to the extent necessary for operating, maintaining, securing, and improving the App, including cloud hosting, database, notification, analytics, or technical support services. Some information, such as prayer calendar data, selected mosque details, reminder settings, and user preferences, may be stored locally on the user’s device. Data obtained through online services may be stored on secure servers or cloud infrastructure for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App’s functionality, improve services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. When data is no longer required for these purposes, we will take reasonable steps to delete, anonymize, or securely retain it only as required by law.
Users may request deletion of their personal data or account-related information by contacting us at masjidplus@bitstensor.com. If the App or related services support administrator or other user accounts, users may request deletion of their account and associated data. Upon receiving a verifiable request, we will take reasonable steps to delete the relevant data from our active systems, subject to applicable law, security, fraud prevention, backup, dispute resolution, and legal retention requirements. Where account deletion functionality is made available in-app or through a web resource, users may also use those methods to submit deletion requests.
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
Masjid Plus is not intended to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If we become aware that personal information has been collected from a child in a manner inconsistent with legal requirements, we will take reasonable steps to delete or address such information in accordance with applicable law.
The App may use third-party tools, platforms, infrastructure, or services to support its functionality, including but not limited to Google Firebase and Cloud Firestore for hosting, database synchronization, notifications, analytics, and technical operations. Such third parties may process limited information only for the purpose of providing their services to us and subject to their own privacy policies and applicable law.

The updated version will become effective from the date stated at the top of the Privacy Policy. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, any dispute, claim, or matter arising out of or relating to this Privacy Policy or the use of the Masjid Plus application shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, India.
